Our charcoal paste is fluoride-free. Interestingly, Salvadora persica naturally contains trace fluoride, but we don't add any synthetically. If you prefer added fluoride, chat with your dentist.
Every few days, peel or sharpen a few millimeters of bark from the tip with the included cedar sharpener, then chew the tip gently to fray fresh bristles.
Our formula uses fine, low-abrasion coconut-shell charcoal plus hydroxyapatite to support enamel. It's designed for daily use, not the gritty charcoal powders you may have seen.
